She's crawling!

Mia began crawling July 21, 2007... about a week before she turned 7 months. She was shaky at first, but has the hang of it now. She's everywhere!

She's especially enjoying being able to get to all the things that we'd just been setting out of her reach. Mainly paper and shoes! lol You can't take your eyes off her for a second!

6 months!

Mia turned six months on May 29, 2007. Wow! Its amazing, things have gone by so fast.

She had a great appointment. Dr. B said she's very healthy and to keep up the good work. :)

Height: 26" (between 50-75 pecentile)
Weight: 16lbs 8oz (also between 50-75 percentile)

On another note Mark and I made a bet guessing her height and weight... and I won! I guessed exactly on both accounts. :o) I won a wonderful bubble bath. Woo!

Anyway, here are some of the things Mia is doing now:
* Sitting unassisted
* Rolling around to get where she wants to go
* Getting on all fours and rocking. She can get a hand or a leg going... so she's close to crawling.
* Screeeeeams. Its the best thing ever.
* Grabs toys, inspects them, then eats them.
* Has 2 teeth.
* Takes longer naps -- 2 - 3 hours sometimes! (woo!)
* Likes to hang upside down
* Loves to be thrown up in the air
* Eats solids -- oatmeal and prunes are the favs right now...
* She can balance herself on her side to play with her toys
* Can get to a crawling position from sitting, on her back, on her side.
* Turn herself around to face out... she hates to be held right now. She's busy!

She's getting so big!

So this is where Mom has been hiding all the toys.

Yay! I'm 6 months!

Just hangin out.
