Well, we haven't really updated on Marble in awhile. Probably because we keep getting so far behind on the other posts and... let's face it, a baby in utero isn't really all that exciting.
Or is it?
Marble has turned out to be quite the drama queen (king?). About 5 weeks ago, we went to an appointment to find out that I was measuring small and they couldn't find the heartbeat at first. They did, but it was a scary couple minutes! We had an ultrasound 2 weeks later and found the baby to be just fine.
And now. *sigh* On Wednesday we went to our regular appointment and found that the baby is breech. We're 37 weeks as of today which makes us full term and could go at anytime. Which means... this baby needs to flip over or I'll have to have a c-section. There's still time, and 2nd babies do tend to flip later than the 1st, but we're worried nonetheless.
I'm working on all the positions and stretches and exercises that I can find to help turn the baby. We're also scheduled for an external version on Tuesday, but we're hoping it will not be needed as it comes with its own risks and can be uncomfortable.
But, in the end, we know that only God can turn this baby around. We're praying, believing, and stepping out in faith that God will turn this baby around in His timing. Will you please join with us in our prayer?
We do have pictures from our ultrasound... but they are awfully hard to tell what they are. So... you'll have to wait a couple weeks for the real thing. :)

Get ready for some hippy-dippy singin' --
To everything
...turn, turn, turn
There is a season
...turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose
under heaven
Sorry. Just couldn't resist.
